1. I do only use it for social activities. Have you ever tried to photograph a sculpture with a shitty 20$ camera? It doesn't turn out that well. Don't assume I don't do art because I don't have any on my profile. There are circumstances behind this that I don't share with the public. However, I do not want to claim that I have extreme talent or something. I just wish to state that my empty profile does not mean I do not do art.
2. I only sent you one message at first. It was you who replied not only ONCE, but actually THREE TIMES. One in reply to my original comment, one on your own profile, and one more on my page. Whereas I was commenting when there was no work in your gallery just as a slight lulz-esque comment, you insulted me in each of the three comments. This was completely uncalled for and I believe you over-reacted. Since you made so many comments relating to me, I was compelled to respond to each of them. Had you civilly responded in just one comment, I wouldn't have sent you "so many frickin messages"
3. I talk to you because you insult me. Notice that I am talking in a civil way to you, which is so much unlike your erratic insults.
Finally, I do have other things to do. I just find it interesting how you respond to my comments.

How are you not artistic enough?
Your photos are amateur. They use none of the properties of design or the Golden Thirds rule or anything that may suggest an inkling of artistic ability. They are too large for a website and blurry and uninteresting. Perhaps once you improve, you could somehow support the usage of this pretentious name. Also, you use only one medium. If you were truly artistic, you would strive to enlighten yourself in the use of several different mediums, perhaps ones where you may actually have some sort of skill.
let me tell you something!
anyone can draw, take a picture, do anything related to art. and yes...they can be called artists!
the drawings might come out a little awkward and unexpected...but that's what art is all about...

I realize that anything created by people can be called art. I've had debates on aesthetics and what is considered art and so on. My peers and I have come to the conclusion stated in the first sentence of this comment. However, you have lost track of what we were talking about. I've never denied that your photos are art. What we were discussing here is not the term "art," but in fact the term "artistic." In my opinion, and the opinion of my peers, artistic means having a certain level of craftsmanship in a work of art. For example, drawing a stick figure on a cave wall versus the drawings of animals that can be found in the caves at Lascaux (a sample of the art found at Lascaux: [img=null][Link]) The stick figure would not be considered artistic because it is only some lines and a circle done with soot on a wall. However, the animals would be artistic, as they are colored and detailed and show craftsmanship. The same can be applied to art today, and this is why I consider that your name is pretentious and wrong.
I am not concerned with whether I somehow accelerate or destroy your drive. I bothered to look at your photos to determine whether you are one or if I would be wrong in that assumption.
Again, this discussion is not about art, but in fact the term "artistic." Craftsmanship, along with other factors, determines whether something is artistic or not. The Golden Thirds rule (I think it's called that, check wikipedia or google) is part of craftsmanship and design, and therefore part of "artistic." Sure, some art can break rules, but it still has to have good craftsmanship. At least consider resizing your photos to fit on people's screens.

First, the word you are looking for is your.
Second, it really isn't. It is a much more creative name than "artistic1540" and gets the attention of people. Therefore, it isn't at all useless or stupid.
